Theme of the Week: Backtalk Village by Garden Marvel

 

Villagers! This week’s theme is Backtalk Village, our crowd sourced home away from home. The first appearance of Backtalk Village is here, for anyone looking for some visual clues. 

Backtalk Village is what you make it. Yes you, reading this.

Thus, together, we have weathered the Great Cookie Wars of Autumn 2015; we’ve established the official drink of Backtalk Village (the Gimlet!); and we have laid claim to libraries, ice cream parlours, island fortresses, underwater lairs, nearby castles, bars, hotels, gardens, marinas and more. 

There’s even been a TARDIS spotted in the Village, circa 1974, remember? I know you do, I distinctly recall seeing you there.

We also like our desserts, cats, pups, Mads Mikkelsen, Alan Rickman, pancakes, and smokieroni.

So Backtalk Village week is devoted to you, Villagers. What else do you think we need? 

Post ideas include, but are not limited to: a Zoo of Impossible Creatures; polling to determine the official beer of Backtalk Village; happy hour at the pub; a menu or even recipes for the restaurant; a murder mystery night at the Backtalk Village Hotel; plan our village parade; post a gossip column about any celebrity sightings in the village; create a book club discussion; host a movie discussion for our art house theater here; or any other village-y thing we should have or know about here in the village.
